Thank you to our generous donors for helping Daniel exceed our goal for the Furnish Their Future campaign. Through donations small and large – and the generous matching campaign offered by the Delores Barr Weaver Legacy Fund at the Community Foundation for Northeast Florida – we raised more than $200K to furnish the soon-to-be renovated Creekside/Cedarwood Cottage. This was the final step in obtaining everything we needed to create a new, welcoming environment where kids with mental and behavioral issues as well as intellectual and developmental differences like autism can receive life-changing therapeutic care. Not only did you help us cross this important finish line, but thanks to large private donors and community support, more than $1.4 million was raised in total, which enables us to completely renovate the building. Please stay tuned for updates as we enter Creekside/Cedarwood Cottage’s construction phase and for news about future campaigns that will allow us to eventually renovate all of the children’s living areas throughout campus.
